Sunday Sevens // 4 2014

The first week of the new half term flew by. Here’s a few pictures to outline the highlights, once again to find out more about Sunday Sevens, nip over to Nat’s blog at threadsandbobbins.com

1. Loving wearing my new boots, but sadly I keep finding a snail trail on them in the porch in the mornings.

2. The first issue of my Love Sewing subscription arrived. It was nice to come home to after a long day at work.

3. I began ordering and receiving items for my #secretsewing gifts. Whilst the contents are top secret, I particularly liked this business card that accompanied one item.

4. No bonfire celebrations due to my delicate dogs, but I did soak some retro dried peas to go with my veggie pasty for tea.

5. Friday night marking.

6. Hair done and styled with hairdresser’s new gadget that sucks the hair in and curls it – bizarre!

7. My only make for the week, and my first pattern hack, a Zippy Top neckline on a Maya dress. Inexpensive but beautiful jersey fabric.
